Education: An Explanatory Booklet

At the municipal school 33, where we distribute sanitary napkins, we discovered limited knowledge about periods among the students through a questionnaire. Four out of five school girls guessed that period blood is excreted along with urine. This illustrated the knowledge gap, caused by the prevailing taboos and stigmas in our project region.

Apart from providing sanitary products to school girls, our goal is to also educate them about their ongoing puberty and menstruation.

Therefore in the last few months our team has created an educational booklet, which will be distributed along with sanitary napkins at our project schools.
